
MUMMY INDAY’S CATERING

Mummy Inday’s Catering provides food and catering services for private and commercial events. By placing an order, paying a deposit, or accepting a quote, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and Australia
FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: MUMMY INDAYS CATERING
- Full Catering Service – Terms on the day
a. Head Count
The final headcount provided at booking is used for planning and pricing. A headcount will be confirmed on the day of the event. If additional guests are present beyond the confirmed number, you will be charged for the extra guests at the original per person rate. Payment is required on the day of service.
b. Service Duration
Service duration is based on the agreed start and end times. Any service extension requested or required on the day will be charged at $150 per hour or part thereof. Extensions are subject to staff availability and approval by Mummy Inday’s Catering.
c. Service fees
A service fee starting at $400 applies to all full catering services. This fee covers staffing costs, standard service operations, and event logistics. Service fees may vary depending on event location, venue facilities, outdoor settings, lack of electricity, access limitations, or additional logistical requirements.
d. Leftovers
If there are leftovers, the client is responsible for providing suitable takeaway containers. A leftover waiver must be signed. Once food is packed and handed over, responsibility transfers to the client.
e. Guest table setup
Guest table setup is not included unless stated. Table setup, including tablecloths and table runners, is available starting from $50 per table. Centrepieces for guest tables are not included. They are available at an additional cost upon request. - Cancellations
For events and orders cancelled more than fourteen (14) days prior to the booking date, a full refund may be issued excluding the deposit.
Events and orders cancelled seven (7) days or less prior to the booking date will only be eligible for a fifty percent (50%) refund of amounts paid excluding the deposit. Deposits are strictly non refundable in all circumstances. Refunds are provided only to the extent required under Australian Consumer Law - Quotes and Bookings
All quotes issued by Mummy Inday’s Catering are valid for seven (7) days unless stated otherwise in writing. A booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received and cleared. Mummy Inday’s Catering reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or decline any booking where payment terms are not met or where event requirements cannot reasonably be accommodated. - Deposits and Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. The deposit amount will be stated on the invoice or quote. Full payment must be made by the due date stated on the invoice. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of services. No services will proceed without payment confirmation. - No Refund Policy
All payments made to Mummy Inday’s Catering are non-refundable except where required by law. This includes deposits, full payments, tray-only orders, and full catering services. No refunds are provided for change of mind, personal circumstances, reduced attendance, or event cancellation outside the stated cancellation period - Taste and Food Preference
Taste is subjective. No refunds, credits, or remakes will be provided based on taste preferences. All food is prepared according to our standard recipes and the agreed menu. This is consistent with Australian Consumer Law where goods are provided as described and fit for purpose. Mummy Inday’s Catering reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where food preferences and expectations are not mutually met. - Order by Tray Services
Tray-only services are prepared strictly based on the customer’s menu selection. Once an order is confirmed and payment is received, no changes, cancellations, or reductions are permitted. Tray sizes, portion quantities, and pricing are as listed at the time of ordering and are final. - Setup, Equipment, and Tables
Table setup, styling, catering equipment hire, and additional items are not included unless specified in writing. Any additional setup or equipment requested will incur extra costs as outlined in the invoice or quote. - Delivery and Pickup
Delivery and pickup times will be agreed in advance. The client must ensure clear and safe access for delivery and collection. If the client is late or unavailable, this may cause delays to subsequent deliveries. Waiting time may incur an additional fee at Mummy Inday’s Catering’s discretion. Mummy Inday’s Catering is not responsible for delays caused by access issues, venue restrictions, or third parties. - Food Safety and Responsibility
Once food is delivered or served, responsibility transfers to the client. Mummy Inday’s Catering is not liable for food quality or safety issues arising from improper storage, reheating, handling, or delays outside our control. - Allergies and Dietary Requirements
The client must notify Mummy Inday’s Catering in writing of any allergies or dietary requirements prior to confirmation. While care is taken, an allergen free environment cannot be guaranteed.
a. Requests for alternative ingredients
We will make reasonable efforts to keep substituted dishes as close as possible to the original recipe. This includes but is not limited to gluten-free or vegan options, which may incur additional fees. Substituting ingredients may alter the taste, texture, or appearance of a dish. Mummy Inday’s Catering is not liable if taste expectations are not met as a result of ingredient substitutions. - Cancellation by the Business
Mummy Inday’s Catering reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances including illness, safety concerns, or events beyond our control. In such cases, a refund of amounts paid excluding the deposit may be considered at our discretion. - Insurance and Liability
Mummy Inday’s Catering holds current business insurance, including public liability insurance. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Australian law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. - Enforcement
These Terms and Conditions are legally binding. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of services, recovery of outstanding amounts, or legal action where required. - Reputation, Reviews, and Online Conduct
Clients agree to raise any concerns or complaints directly with Mummy Inday’s Catering and allow a reasonable opportunity for resolution before posting public comments, reviews, or statements online. - False or Misleading Statements
Clients must not publish or threaten to publish false, misleading, or defamatory statements about Mummy Inday’s Catering on social media, review platforms, or any public forum. - Honest Reviews
Nothing in these Terms prevents a client from leaving an honest and lawful review. Reviews must be fair, accurate, and based on genuine experience. Reviews used to pressure or obtain refunds, remakes, discounts, or free services are not acceptable. - No Blackmail or Coercion
Any attempt to threaten negative reviews, complaints, or reputational harm in exchange for refunds, discounts, remakes, or additional services will be considered coercive conduct. Such requests will be refused and may be escalated for legal review. - Force Majeure
Mummy Inday’s Catering is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control. This includes extreme weather, power outages, transport delays, venue access issues, government restrictions, supplier failure, or emergencies. Refunds are not guaranteed in these circumstances and remain at our discretion. - Venue and Third-Party Responsibility
The client is responsible for ensuring the venue permits catering services and complies with venue rules. Mummy Inday’s Catering is not responsible for restrictions, interference, or actions of venues or third parties that affect service quality or timing. - Damage, Loss, and Misuse of Equipment
All equipment, trays, and items provided by Mummy Inday’s Catering remain our property unless stated otherwise. The client is responsible for any loss, damage, or misuse. Replacement or repair costs may be charged. - Photography and Content Use
Mummy Inday’s Catering may take photos or videos of food, setup, or events for marketing and promotional purposes unless the client notifies us in writing prior to the event. - Legal Costs and Recovery
If legal or debt recovery action is required due to a breach of these Terms, the client agrees to pay reasonable recovery costs to the extent permitted by law. - Reputation Protection Notice
To protect our small business, all concerns must be raised directly with us. False, misleading, or coercive online reviews are not acceptable and may result in further legal action. - Acceptance
Payment of a deposit or invoice confirms full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
